How It Works
When you’re accepted into the program, you’ll spend some deep reflective time in advance of the first strategy session, and then generate an 8-10 page document that explores where you are and where you envision going.
You’ll share your strengths, challenges, and weaknesses, as well as your most pressing questions. When you submit this information to Stephen in advance, he’ll take it into his own meditation and creative brainstorming. This is his most effective process for getting up to speed with your aspirations and challenges and letting his own creative ideas flow.
You’ll then have one full hour on Zoom for each session (May and October) (recorded AND fully transcribed), in which Stephen will impart high-level advice for your business and your mission, giving you groundbreaking ideas, branding advice, new business models, and marketing strategies that can help you expand your impact and success — all while living in good health and balance.
During the initial two hours, you can ask your most important questions and receive Stephen’s best advice on how to create a business that’s fulfilling and successful on all levels. You’ll then go through your own growth and development process for your work BEFORE you arrive in Mexico in January to do the profound soul work that can only happen in person.
Stephen purchased a home in the Troncones area and spends January there with his family to soak in the natural beauty, expansiveness, and relaxation that allow new visions to come through. The preparation work you’ll have done in advance will enable you to enter into your three days fully prepared.
Once you begin your time with Stephen, be ready to engage in deep reflection, writing, and more between sessions. You’ll still have time for walks and swims on the beautiful Manzanillo Bay beach (often nominated as one of the most beautiful in the world).
You’ll also have the chance to drop in for a meaningful lunch with Stephen, which gives you the opportunity to connect more personally.
In your final session, you’ll summarize everything that you’ve refined and honed, and get feedback on your action plan for the next three years.
Accommodations and Travel
We’re asking all Mentorship program participants to book their stay at the Inn at Manzanillo Bay, a luxurious and lovely 10-bedroom hotel with unique suites, located right off the gorgeous beach and near Stephen’s Mexican home. Prices range from $200-$500/night.
We ask everyone to book their stay for a minimum of three nights, starting the night before Day 1 to give you a chance to be fully rested and enjoy the beach and area before diving into the retreat.

Stephen Dinan is the founding President and CEO of The Shift Network and a member of the Transformational Leadership Council and Evolutionary Leaders. Frequently Asked Questions
Q: How do I prepare for this program?
A: Once you apply and are accepted, you’ll schedule your first session with Stephen and answer a list of questions to illuminate where you are currently and what your needs are moving forward. Plan on three to four hours of preparation in advance so you’ll be well-prepared, and Stephen can be up to speed on your vision, background, business plan, and skills.
You’ll send Stephen your summary of key points in advance, which will ensure that your time with him is well spent and productive. We’ll record the Zoom sessions and transcribe them so you don’t have to take notes or try to remember what can sometimes be a firehose of insights, strategies, and ideas.
How do I know if I’m ready?
A: If you have a clear foundation of mastery in a body of work, an existing business that’s generating beyond $100K per year, and a strong calling to eventually bring your teachings or methods to a global level, you ARE ready. If you don’t really have a clear idea or client base for what you want to create yet, you’re not. This program works best by building upon a foundation you’ve already established — rather than starting from scratch.
Q: What is your cancellation and refund policy?
A: As this program requires scheduling our President and CEO’s valuable time, you can receive a refund for up to three days after your purchase. After that, our expectation is that you are committed to follow through on the program.
If you cancel the program within three days of registering, you’ll get a full refund minus a $100 application processing fee — assuming no product or service has been received at that point. Given this is a very exclusive program with a committed number of slots available, we are not able to offer refunds beyond that point.
